Certified Tableau Desktop Specialist

The Tableau Desktop Specialist exam consists of 45 questions and covers the following domains: connecting to and preparing data, exploring and analyzing data, sharing insights, and understanding Tableau concepts. In order to pass this exam, one must be able to successfully articulate and execute the following tasks: create live connections and extracts, know when to use certain charts as well as how to create them, apply filters and parameters, create calculated fields, create and modify dashboards and stories, and more.

This certification does not expire and there are no maintenance requirements.
